Frequently Asked Questions 

 

Question:  What is the monthly maintenance?

Answer: $283 per month due the first of every month.  Late fees will accrue after the 15th of the month.  For your convenience you may go to the drive up window of any BB&T Bank to make a payment by check, money order or cash as long as you provide a coupon (found in your maintenance payment coupon book) with your  payment.  See the maintenance payment coupon book for other methods of payment.    

 

Question: Can  I pay my maintenance  by Electronic Checks or Credit Card?

Answer:  See the BB&T Coupon Book for directions on how to set up Automatic Payments, Bill Pay or where to mail your payments. Contact Victory Accounting Services  Phone 561-739-7990  for questions about payments posting to your account and credit card payments. 

Question: Who is the Property Manager and how do I contact them?  

Answer:  Brock Property Management is the property management company.   Jane Brock is our Property Manager.    You can contact Jane by email or phone.  Look under the Management tab of this website.  The number to the office, the address, and email are listed as well as directions to BPM's office.  However, you will need a PC, Mac or iPad to view the directions to the office.  Call before going to the office as there are no walk-ins allowed so you should set an appointment.   

Question:  If I plan a project that would include a structural change or improvement  to the outside area of my residence within my property line,  what should I do to  comply with rules and regulations of the community?   

Answer: Contact the Board of Directors (BOD) at info@townhomesoforiole.com and provide a brief outline of the project.  The BOD would be able to guide you as to whether or not you need permission from each resident  in your cluster/building to proceed with the project and/or whether or not you would need a permit from the City of Margate.   Depending on the scope of the project you may need to obtain approval of the residents of your cluster and approval of the BOD.    If a permit is required then you must submit an Architectural Modification Form (AMF) and the BOD must approve the plans.  An AMF can be found on this website by right  clicking Documents and scrolling down until you find the 'AMF' pdf  file to download, or you can contact Brock Property Management and they will email an AMF to you.   The Property Manager should be able to help you if you have questions as to the documents that must be submitted for BOD approval.    

              

Question - How can I obtain a copy of the THO Rules & Regulations?

Question:  Is THO an age-restricted community?

Answer:  THO welcomes responsible owners of all ages.

 

Question:  May I rent my unit? 

Answer:   No.    THO is a non-rental community since 2001.    The Association has the legal right to evict renters.

Question:  Are Pets allowed?

Answer:  Yes, there is a limit of 2 pets per unit, and a dog must be less than 55 pounds at maturity, No animal listed as a vicious breed is allowed.

 

Question:  What are the approved THO paint colors?

Question:  Where do I get my parking decal(s)? 

Answer: Please email  the Board of Directors (BOD) at  info@townhomesoforiole.com.   You will find more  information about parking and the requirements to receive a parking decal for owners or the residents living with the owner on this website under the Parking menu.    

Question:  Is my  guest able to  park their vehicle over night without being towed? 

Answer: A guest can park their vehicle as long as the owner registers that  vehicle as a guest each night the vehicle is parked on premises.  You must use the guest parking code to register your guest.  To do this you must go to www.townhomesoforiole.com.parkingattendant.com and follow the instructions.  The parking rules can be viewed and downloaded at that site as well.   Do this for ALL  non-decaled vehicles that you want to be parked on premises over night.  Contact the BOD for more information.   

Question: Is the Clubhouse available to rent for a birthday party, shower, etc.?

Answer:   The Clubhouse is now open to rent for events.  Go to Documents on this website.  See the Clubhouse Event Rental in the dropdown menu and click to open.  View/download the instructions and the rental agreement.  Contact Brock Property Management by phone to schedule a time to either sign and notarize the Clubhouse Rental Agreement or to drop off your deposits with the documents already signed and notarized.    

Question:  How often is Trash Pickup?

Answer:  Normal Trash pickup is Wednesday & Saturday.   Do not put trash or bulk out before 6:00pm the  evening before it is scheduled  to be picked up.   Please comply with Margate statutes. All homeowners must use the Margate City Trash Bins that each homeowner has been given.   Bulk Pickup and Yard Waste Pickup  are on Saturdays only and are the only items that do not need to be placed in a bin.  Yard Waste must be put in clear plastic bags for pickup on Saturdays.   Otherwise plastic bags are not to be set outside the garbage bin.  Recycle pick up is on Wednesdays only.    See the Trash, Bulk and Recycle Menu on this website  for more information.    Bring trash and recycle bins inside your fence line within 24 hours after trash pickup.  It is a violation to store trash bins on the outside of your fence line (known as the common area).
