The TownHomes of Oriole is a well maintained residential community in Margate, FL. The community is close to shopping, entertainment, Coral Square Mall, and A-rated schools. Originally built in the mid 70’s, there are 38 buildings with a total of 338 units. The community has 2 pools, a basketball area, a playground, and a clubhouse that can be rented for unit owners' events. Most units have 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bath, and approximately 1400-1550 sq. ft. Some 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath, 1600 sq. ft. units are available. Each unit has a front court and back area that is fenced off for privacy.
THO is a Non-Rental Owner Community and does not have an age restriction for owning. Of major noteworthiness is that the association fee was raised once in 5 years, and a lot of improvements have been accomplished without any special assessments. This includes redoing the clubhouse, lots of new landscaping, a playset for the younger kids and a new basketball court for the not so younger kids, re-fencing the pool area, and more. More difficult to show is the major upgrade to the security lighting where each building has their own lights to further supplement the street lights.
